As you know there are many indigenous American traditions that use the Elements in various ways as part of the Medicine Wheel; from ancient uses to many modern shamanic practices. When using sacred geometry I encourage people to use their imaginations. When you incorporate the Elements into the geometric shapes it is like creating 'magical' works of art that you can use to invoke different experiences. The Medicine Wheel is a brilliant example. If you put the Elements in different locations (such as male-female pairs, or opposing) according to your intent you will have a different experience.  

Some of you may not agree with this particular allocation of Element to Directions but I feel it works well with the intent of using the Air to bring you insights and answers to your questions. ​If a different allocation 'feels' right to you then use this.
