Flowers unfurling are commonly used as a symbol to represent the opening of chakras. Naturally this image is the Root or Base chakra and hence is very much about strengthening the sense of belonging, improving self-esteem and security. Surrounding it is a flowing ocean of green water to protect the bloom as it opens to reveal a golden centre.
