Sylphs (Elemental Spirit of the Air

Sylphs are the Elemental beings of the air that are sometimes seen by women who are pregnant. Note the triple-spiral (see left) formed by the air currents, a symbol said to represent the 9 months of human pregnancy and the triple-Goddess. In essence this image represents the fertility and fecundity of the feminine principle.
